Prague Slush'D
After experiencing Slush in Helsinki and Slush'D events in Bolzano and Bratislava, I started thinking: why not Prague? I wanted to bring that same energy to the city and create a founders-first event of our own. I initiated the project and brought together a small team of people who shared the ambition to make it happen. While we were developing the concept, Slush changed its approach to supporting independently organized Slush'D events, which meant we couldn't move forward under the Slush'D format. The project never made it to launch, but the ambition behind it remains.
The idea
I've always been drawn to the startup world and the energy around people building something from scratch. The vision was to create a different kind of startup event in Prague, built around founders, meaningful connections, and real experiences.
What I took from it
Sometimes the timing changes, but the ambition doesn't.
Prague Slush'D was built around a simple belief: success is not just about the destination, but the journey of building, failing, learning, and growing. And once you've made that journey, giving back by helping others on theirs.
The project hasn't happened yet, but the ambition is still very much alive. My goal is to bring this idea to life and make it happen.
